Ship salvage lifting airbag
Introduction of ship salvage lifting airbag
Ship salvage lifting airbags is evolved from ship launching rubber airbag, featuring a long cylindrical structure with double conical ends, reinforced by heavy-duty synthetic tire cord layers and covered with high-quality inner & outer rubber layers. Initially developed for ship launching and heavy object lifting, these airbags have been upgraded with full-wrap polyester webbing lifting straps, officially serving as professional marine salvage airbags for maritime rescue operations.
Equipped with airtight terminal ends and inflation valves at both ends, the airbags boast excellent air tightness and structural stability. Tailored to meet the stringent demands of the vessel salvage and rescue industry, the redesigned airbags go beyond conventional launching functions, and are widely applied in shipwreck salvage, floating bridge and dock construction, as well as the salvage and refloating of stranded, wrecked and beached vessels.

Features of boat lift air bags :
1. Ultra strong load-bearing & buoyancy for lifting various tonnage sunken/stranded vessels
2. Flexible operation, adaptable to complex underwater terrain and hull shapes
3. Superior air tightness & pressure stability, safe automatic overpressure relief
4. Seawater corrosion/abrasion/aging resistance, durable in harsh marine environment
5. Easy transport/installation/operation, high salvage efficiency & low labor cost
6. Reinforced structure, reusable for multiple times, high cost performance
7. Even force distribution, safe and reliable, compliant with marine safety standards
8. Multi-functional: applicable to salvage, ship launching, floating engineering, etc.

How to choose suitable boat lift air bags
1. Please provide the length, width and gross weight of the sunken vessel.
2. Please advise the sinking depth and underwater distance of the vessel.
3. Please specify the underwater terrain conditions (e.g., rocky, muddy, sandy or other obstacles).
4. If feasible, kindly send us the on-site underwater photos/videos and site conditions for reference.
Operating notes we should know:
1. The lifting speed shall generally be controlled at 1 meter per minute. Ensure a steady lifting speed to allow the airbags sufficient time to discharge expanded air via their overpressure valves for safe operation.
2. The strapping/binding method is critical to the success of salvage operations. Please provide the on-site conditions, and we will offer professional and optimal binding recommendations for your project.
3. The standard working depth of the airbags is generally within 25 meters. For depths exceeding 25 meters, we can adopt a combined lifting solution of airbags and steel cables to lift the vessel to the safe working depth step by step.
