Supplied by Florescence, to protect ships and mooring facilities, which have been used effectively for worldwide ship-to-quay and Ship-to-Ship applications since 1992, are proven to perform safely even when excess load is applied to them.

Pneumatic fender performance

Reliant on the compressive elasticity of air, Yokohama pneumatic fenders show no deterioration or variation in performance due to fatigue or extremely even -50°C and below temperatures. So no need for owners to make regular replacements.

Installation is easy and cheap, as the fender is floated by its own weight in the water. As such, it can be moored easily by rope or chain, and can be transferred to another mooring point easily.

Whilst some manufacturers of pneumatic fenders claim compliance with the internationally recognised ISO 17357 manufacture, testing and performance standards, despite failing to meet certain key criteria, Yokohama affords customers complete confidence by demonstrating full compliance with PIANC 2002.
