Introduction of foam filled fender

Foam fender is crossed by a chain of variable size that allows fixation on each end via a flange and shackle. Externally fitted swivels are recommended to prevent the chain from wrapping on itself and wearing out prematurely. This configuration is suitable for a horizontally floating fender (and cannot operate in a vertical position).
The chain emerges through two metal end flanges tensioning the chain and maintained by a shackle. In this configuration, the diameter of Fenders ranges from Ø300 mm to Ø4000 mm.

Application of EVA fender

1.Floating EVA fenders are used to provide cushioning and protection for ships, and are widely used in ships, offshore platforms, offshore, facilities, terminals and yachts.

2.It can be used for tugboats, work boats, pilot boats, high seas terminals, gravity ports, especially large tidal piers.

Features of Foam Filled Fender For Dock

1.Reinforced elastomer skin
Marine foam filled fenders have a nylon filament reinforced polyurethane skin which has excellent resistance to water, oil, ice, strong sunlight and abrasive surface. It remains flexible even at -40°C (-40°F) making it suitable for Tropical or Arctic operations.

2.Energy absorbing
Ship foam filled fender absorbs impact energy so colliding vessels will not damage the buoy or themselves.

3.Unsinkable foam
Only closed-cell foams are used in floating fenders. The micro-bubble matrix of the foam means it does not absorb water even if cut or damaged. This makes floating foam fenders impossible to sink.

4.Permanent colors
The polyurea skin is pigmented through its entire thickness, so colors will not wear off and will never need repainting. A wide choice of bright colors can help improve safety and identification.
