Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the "Guidelines for the Development of Key Technologies for Industry (2017)", which clearly pointed out the key elements of the development and application of high-quality marine engineering steel, and the key elements of green and intelligent steel processes. Collaborative optimization and integrated application technology, as well as key technologies for high-quality special steel production applications.
High quality marine and marine engineering steels have always been a concern for both the shipbuilding industry and the steel industry. After years of development, China has established a complete steel system for ships and offshore engineering. In 2011, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the “Guidelines for the Development of Key Technologies for Industry (2011)”, which were revised in 2013 and 2015 respectively. The newly released "Industry Key Common Technology Development Guide (2017 Edition)" is the latest version of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, which further combines "Made in China 2025" with the major demand for innovation in manufacturing industry, and after researching the status quo and trends of domestic and international industry development. It put forward 174 key common technologies for the development of the industry, including 53 raw material industries, 33 equipment manufacturing, 36 electronic information and communication industries, 27 consumer goods industries, and 25 comprehensive energy conservation and environmental protection resources.
